Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Instagram Competition Rules - 21.11.2023

1. Eligibility: This giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of The CGB Gift Shop and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. This giveaway is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

2. Sponsorship: The sponsor of this giveaway is The CGB Gift Shop ([Instagram Profile Link]), and it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

3. Agreement to Rules: By entering this giveaway, participants agree to abide by The CGB Gift Shop's Official Rules and decisions. The CGB Gift Shop reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any participant at its sole discretion.

4. Entry Period: Giveaway begins on 21.11.2023 and ends on Monday, 27th November at 9:00 AM.

5. How to Enter: To enter, participants must:

   • Like the giveaway post on The CGB Gift Shop's Instagram page.
   • Tag three (3) friends in the comments of the giveaway post.
   • Follow The CGB Gift Shop's Instagram page. Entries that do not follow all required steps will not be considered.

6. Prizes: The winner will receive 1 x Gingerbread Mug & 1 x Gingerbread Jug. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at The CGB Gift Shop's discretion.

7. Winner Selection and Notification: The winner will be selected by a random drawing and will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within [number of days] days following the selection. The CGB Gift Shop is not responsible for any winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for a winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

8. Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest, you understand and agree that The CGB Gift Shop, anyone acting on behalf of The CGB Gift Shop, and The CGB Gift Shop's licensees, successors, and assigns shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

9. Terms & Conditions: The CGB Gift Shop reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should a virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond The CGB Gift Shop's control affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway.

10. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless The CGB Gift Shop and Instagram from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from your participation in the giveaway and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

11. Disputes: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF [Your Country/State, e.g., England], WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in United Kingdom having jurisdiction.

12. Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on The CGB Gift Shop's website/Instagram Profile. 

13. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Unit 3 CGB Giftware, Bude / Stratton Business Park, Bude Cornwall EX23 8LY. Requests must be received no later than [date, e.g., 30 days after the end of the giveaway].

14. Social Media Platform Rules: Participants acknowledge that the giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram and agree to a complete release of Instagram.

15. Affirmation of Acceptance of and Agreement to All of the Official Rules: By entering the giveaway, the participant has affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules.
